Idea: Going Vegetarian For One Week
I heart me some meat. I like steak, I like burgers, I like chicken, I like wings, I like pork and I’ll even have some lamb on occasion, though that’s a bit of a pricier cut. I’m a fan of meat and have been for quite some time now. However lately, my love of meat has been waning a little in terms of quantity. I’ll have a couple pieces of chicken and grow tired of it. A couple bites of steak and I’m good on steak. I don’t dislike meat, by any means, but I think my body is telling me it wants a bit of a change.
So sometime in the next couple of weeks, my wife and I are going to try to eat vegetarian for a week. We aren’t going to go strictly Vegan, but we’re going to significantly reduce the amount of meat we eat and try to avoid red meats entirely. While we haven’t exactly planned this little journey out yet, I think it’ll be fun to eat vegetarian for a week.
Who knows… maybe it’ll go longer.

I could go vegetarian with I was allowed eggs and fish. There is no way I could go vegan. Just not going to happen… ever… period.
Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
This may help your wallet too. Beef will probably get more expensive soon because of shortages.
I think we’re going to have to keep fish in there…
Heh…I tried that about two years ago and I still haven’t switched back to eating meat.
That’s what I might be afraid of!
Hope this worked out for you! Keep in mind that the most important thing you can do for the planet is to cut out beef. Its the biggest sorce of greenhouse gas, greater than transportation. Even if you can’t cut out the rest for good, beef is bad news and you’ll be better off.
