Honeymooning until March 17th
To those who have been visiting, I apologize for not having any fresh content up; we are currently celebrating our honeymoon in Hawai’i and will return March 17th. In store for you then will be my start of daily classes at the gym (some sort of cycling and circuit training) and a more diligent adherence to a more active lifestyle.
Thanks!

How To Use Caffeine Effectively
So many people, including myself, rely on caffeine every single day to get a kick start in the morning or a boost in the afternoons. This article on Developing Intelligence titled Caffeine: A User’s Guide to Getting Optimally Wired is especially valuable because it gives some suggestions on how to get the most out of the caffeine you consume. The two major points I got out of it were that you should consume caffeine in small amounts, “between 20-200mg per hour,” and play to its strengths for improving ability.
Fat Man Unleashed!
As I started getting into the whole health blogging and weight loss blogging scene, I ran into this great blog called Fat Man Unleashed. It’s more than weight loss blog, but it follows the journey of Israel and his quest to live and healthier and fuller life. I only started reading it today so I don’t have much of an opinion of it yet other than to say he really does the whole blog monetization thing to the hilt (which is cool by me, of course).
I look forward to seeing what he writes about and his quest to lose weight, he’s at 44 pounds now which is a decent drop.
Welcome to the Journal of Healthy Living!
The Journal of Healthy Living is going to be a journal tracking my progress towards a healthier, fuller, and more richer life experience. It will focus on a variety of things outside of the typical “health” or “weight-loss” journal because life is about more than dropping the numbers on a scale. I seek to capture all of that, together, and present it to you for your reading enjoyment.
As a relatively successful blogger who has greatly enjoyed writing about personal finance, I felt expanding into writing about health could have a beneficial effect on my own health. Just as my personal finances had improved tremendously as I penned my personal finance blog, I hope that my health (weight included!) will also improve as I learn more about a healthy lifestyle and share it with everyone.
So, please come with me on my journal towards a more healthy lifestyle!
